So, I went “thrifting” this weekend and I found a mini dress that looks almost exactly like this! When I pulled it all the way up to try it as a dress, it was a little too “mini” for my taste. So naturally, I slid it down to my waist and it fit just like the skirt in the picture. I knew I had to have it from the moment I picked it up, but after trying it as a skirt I knew I WAS NOT going to be able to leave the store without it!
Which leads me to this post, I have been trolling the internet and Tumblr looking for more style inspirations for my new favorite skirt. I’m already a big fan of mixing sequins with denim skirts and other casual pieces and wearing it during the day but there is always more to be found. I’m open to suggestions!

Love seeing a mix of lux and laid back, work and play…whatev, I just love contrast. It is so fun and unexpected. I’m all about the unexpected and this is a fantastic example of all those fabulously unexpected styling choices!

I might not be updating my page as often in the coming weeks (I haven’t really been updating that much lately anyway) because I have a lot going on. I will be back in a minute so stayed tuned as there is considerably more to see
Ya’ll know I’ll be back in like a week or two because I’m a low-key tumblr addict so…yeah

I post ONLY because this happens to me all the time! After living in heels for years I had a brief yet passionate fling with flats and more casual looks which lasted roughly 2 years. Although I was not an exclusive flat wearer during this period, I start noticing that there were some issues whenever I would pop or a pair of heels for a night on the town. Apparently my dalliance with flats had caused irreparable damage to my relationship with heels because ever since I returned to the comfort of my first love, I have been treated so badly for the affair as I have began slipping, sliding, teetering and tottering endlessly. Needless to say, my balance is off. I don’t know why I can’t get it back to where it used to be but it isn’t for a lack of trying on my part. I guess my heels don’t love me no mo’. Or could it be my ankles? Hmmm…more research must be done. Need more shoes
